Bio

Akia, a Certified Public Accountant by day (and night if you count tax season), has recently returned to her roots in dance and theatre. As a trained jazz dancer and baton twirler, she spent many years performing locally.
Akia is a 2006 graduate of Marshall University. She also has an MS in Taxation from Bentley University. Deciding to stay in her hometown area, Akia started her career at Hayflich CPAs in Huntingon, WV. 15 years later, she is a partner with the firm.
