Jessie Jasko
Bio
Jessie Jasko would not be in theater today if it had not been for her family’s appreciation of the arts. Growing up she attended many a symphony, ballet, musical, and play production. Though she was a committed swimmer from the age of 7, something about the theater always spoke to her. Although she had not yet jumped into theater, while still swimming competitively she fostered a great love for all things musical. Finally, after seeing Shrek by First Stage Theater Company in 2017, she decided to open a new chapter in her life and pursue the arts. Since then, she has had the privilege of learning from incredibly talented directors, choreographers, music directors, and of course, tech crews (who she thinks deserve all the credit in the world). Between productions she enjoys reading classic literature and the occasional sci-fi novel, playing guitar, running, and whatever interesting project she can get her hands on. She is a full-time student at Covenant high school. She hopes to study theater in some capacity in college someday.
