Bio
Mary holds a BFA in Music & Theatre from Denison, and also completed music studies in Vienna and musical theatre studies at AMDA.
She’s had a blast working with Alchemy and other theatre groups in Huntington, as well as theatre companies in Virginia, Illinois, Ohio, and West Virginia.
Some of her favorite roles include Abigail (1776), Eliza (My Fair Lady), Dolly (Hello Dolly!), Anna (The King & I), Mrs. Potts (Beauty & the Beast), Reno (Anything Goes), The Witch (Into the Woods), Clairee (Steel Magnolias), Roz (9 to 5), Mrs. Lovett (Sweeney Todd), Marian (The Music Man), Nancy (Oliver!), assorted Zanies (I Love You, You’re Perfect, Now Change), Miss Hannigan (Annie), Philia (A Funny Thing…Forum), Katisha (The Mikado), Julie (Equity), Leona (Exit Laughing), and Mama Murphy (Bright Star).
Mary is thrilled to be back with Alchemy and also reunited with Director Helen Freeman for Alchemy’s production of “Nunsense." Throughout the years, she’s had the joy of portraying three of the Little Sisters of Hoboken in Nunsense and Nunsense II, and in many of these productions, Alchemy’s own Linda Reynolds (“Linda’s Lounge”) was right there with her. Angel Linda is still with us now – singing, laughing, & tapping her way into our hearts.
