Bio

Jane Modlin is delighted to return with her old and new friends to the Alchemy stage.  After playing Sister Leo and Sister Robert Anne, she’s honored to follow in MaryO’s tap shoes and tackle Sister Hubert. While her professional career runs the gamut from tours with grand opera to the WWF (and everything in between), area audiences may remember her as Phyllis (Follies), Tanya (Mamma Mia), Maleficent (Descendants the Musical), Violet (9 to 5), Betty Haynes (White Christmas), Gloria the Science Officer (Return to the Forbidden Planet), or Grandmama Addams (The Addams Family). Thanks to her Theatre IV students for running lines with her and to Andrew for always proving she’s the lucky one. For her parents, Phil and Jean—thank you for the music.
