Andrew Gooding
Bio
Andrew Gooding learned to fence starting at age 8 in Ithaca, NY as part of a fencing coaches in the schools program by the American Fencing Academy. After taking off a number of years to get his education, he returned to his passion when he moved to Huntington to work at Marshall University. He is an active member of the Society for Creative Anachronism which does medieval reenacting and gets his fencing fix by participating and teaching in that group. He also helps Dr. Del Chrol at Marshall University coach the Marshall Fencing club.
In his spare time he is the Director of the Regents Bachelor of Arts program for returning adult students at Marshall. He resides with his wife of 31 years on the Southside of Huntington and their two college-aged children.
