Chris Chambers
Bio
Chris Chambers is a professional actor and director but most importantly a father. After beginning his theatrical endeavors at Huntington High School as a freshman and then participating every one of his 4 years there, he then went out into the community, joining with local outfits MAG/CT (now First Stage) and H.O.T. (now HART in the Park), as well as many others. He then attended Marshall University as a theatre major for a brief time before deciding that he’d take a shot at the next level. His first professional theatre work was as a member of Shadowbox Cabaret (now Shadowbox Live) in Columbus, OH. While there, he quickly rose to starring roles at both Shadowbox’s primary Easton Town Center location and their Short North location 2’Cos Cabaret. Chris also founded Basement Theatrics while in Columbus in order to create even more theatre on his days off from Shadowbox. He made connections with fellow actors there that would fortuitously lead to brief stints in NYC and Chicago, where he worked with The Rogue Players and played Iago in Othello Off-Broadway at The Actors Temple Theatre in NY for a limited run. He’s proud to be back in the theatre here at Alchemy but most proud to be a dad to his beautiful and talented daughter Olivia Chambers, also an Alchemist!
