Bio

Rory Johnson is a senior at Marshall University majoring in BFA Theatre Production. He has worked on eight different MU Theatre productions in the past two years on every type of backstage crew he can, as well as working marshall events, MUT summer staff, and being a part of Theatre ETC’s tour to ICTF Scotland in August 2024.

While he is a newcomer to Alchemy Theatre, he has jumped in head first by working on both The Love Song of J. Robert Oppenheimer and Something Rotten simultaneously as props master and stage manager, respectively. 

He would like to extend his thanks to Mike Murdock and Nora Ankrom for getting him involved with Alchemy, Leah Turley for all the advice and opportunities she has given him, friends new and old for keeping him sane, as well as Jimi Lee Lawson, Gavin Spiewak, and Faith Young for everything else.
