Bio

This is Michele Farruggia's very first experience with theater, but she's always been interested and finally decided to give it a try. Michele is a survivor of teenage and adult sexual assault and adult domestic violence who became a mental health therapist that focuses on woman and children that are victims of domestic violence and sexual assault.  As well, she teaches male abusers the impact of their actions and how to change their pattern of behavior in order to no longer be a threat to the people in their lives.

Michele has a BSW degree from WV State University, and her MSW from Marshall University. Receiving her MSW and subsequently starting her career in mental health at almost 50 was the fulfillment of her life long dream born out of the trials she has faced.

Michele is engaged to Bryan Johnson, a fellow cast member.  Her greatest joys in life are the 6 kids she shares with Bryan, 4 grandkids, and 3 sons in law. Bryan attributes her beautiful hippie spirit to her wonderful and kind soul.
